Antigua
The adventure starts in the colonial gem of Antigua, one of Central America’s most picturesque cities and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Surrounded by the towering volcanoes Agua, Fuego, and Acatenango, Antigua charmed with its cobblestone streets, brightly painted façades, and baroque-era churches.

Travelers visited the Santa Catalina Arch, explored the ruins of the San Francisco Church, and wandered through lively markets brimming with handwoven textiles, jade jewelry, and woodcarvings. A highlight was a visit to a local coffee plantation, where guests learned about the journey of Guatemalan coffee from bean to cup, tasting some of the world’s finest brews in the shadow of volcanic slopes. For the adventurous, a guided hike up Pacaya Volcano offered the chance to walk near lava fields and gaze at panoramic views of the surrounding valleys.
